Posted: 10 Nov 2005 10:22:41 Has anybody sucessfully upgraded to v2.0? I have many modifications on my site, so I am apprehensive about updating too quickly and having to re-apply all of my mods. I don't want any surprises; finding bugs in the upgrade that will keep my site off-line. I suppose nobody wants to be the guinea pig... |

Posted: 10 Nov 2005 22:33:54 Hello, if you are not sure about how to upgrade the old version, you can wait until we'll upgrade our sites. We will write here about the installation progress. But you should understand, that after the upgrade will take place, your not upgraded sites won't work properly. Thanks. |

Posted: 11 Nov 2005 11:22:11 Rosenred.com is having a couple of problems. Two pages I found are not styled at all, it looks like the CSS is not being applied. Check the view profile page and new member sign-up page. I didn't check everything, but I came upon these pages quickly. |

Posted: 11 Nov 2005 23:11:13 Hi raybman. All these pages are styled. I've just checked it up. Maybe you need to clean your cache. |

Posted: 13 Nov 2005 21:38:02 Of course there are some problems. We couldn't test everything, now we are testing the site and very soon we'll put the patch 2.0.1, so you'll be able to repair all those small bugs. These bugs were disclosed after the installation, they are not critical. And they have no influence on the whole system work. You should upgrade your sites, because if you have the old version, new members won't be able to register. |

Posted: 15 Nov 2005 19:22:13 Hello So how do you upgrade if you have modifications? |

Posted: 15 Nov 2005 22:35:36 Hi shimmy. You will have to insert those code modifications afresh in the new version. I can't see any other way. |

Posted: 16 Nov 2005 00:22:36 I finally got it working...wow what a hassle that was. Unfortunately, I still have to re-insert all of my modifications, which I hope I won't have to repeat for the next upgrade. |

Posted: 16 Nov 2005 01:10:30 That was a critical update. That's why you have to reinstall all your modifications. |

Posted: 21 Nov 2005 11:16:56 I hope this was ok but I just installed the new version from scratch. It was simple that way. If it is not recommended then I apologize for any problems this could cause. |
