Jonna	Posted: 8 Jun 2005 18:49:36 Hi.. this is the error message i get: Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to dating-remote.dotsilver.com:10060 in /home/norwegia/public_html/inc/transfer.inc.php on line 74 Unable to connect to Norwegianhusband.com (Connection timed out - 110) The link to the site is http://www.norwegianhusband.com ANY help would be highly appreciatet.. It runs the dating service, not adult :-) Jonna
.silver Admin	Posted: 8 Jun 2005 23:04:14 Seems that your hosting doesn't support fsockopen function that's why your site can't connect to dotSilver main server. You can change your hosting now or wait for the new version of partner script (approximately within 3-5 business days). New version comes with this problem eliminated.
itdamon	Posted: 9 Jun 2005 12:56:48 It would be nice to have technical spec sheet ammended to the dotSilver Partner site setup and configuration Modification date: Apr 22, 2005 I would like to know such things as server specifications, web server specifications (apache, IIS?), PHP version used during development, etc. For instance, I was trying in vain to get this site up and working on an NT box with IIS. Didn't get very far until I switched to a Linux environment running Apache web server. What are the dependancies? We could probably all benefit from knowing the ideal environment.... Just my 2 cents. -Damon
