cosmics1979	Posted: 14 Mar 2006 14:05:01 Hi everybody! I signed up at dotsilver and have done all the installation steps as shown in the manual. But after uploading all the files i had to delete the .htaccess for my site to work. now, after configurating the configs.php i am unable to enter the site at http://cosmics1979.co.funpic.de/index.php only the following 2 errors is shown: Warning: file_get_contents(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/cosmics1979/inc/transfer.inc .php on line 80 Warning: file_get_contents(http://dating-remote.dotsilver.com/index.php?data=PI D%01502%02RA%0184.178.173.232%02mAuth%010%02pFields%01LookingFor%2CCou ntry%02pr%21EVpperm%011%02prSUSpperm%011%02prHLDpperm%011): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/cosmics1979/inc/transfer.inc .php on line 80 No answer can anybody help me?
reval8r	Posted: 14 Mar 2006 19:02:22 Looks like your hosting provider's servers are set so the server can not call out to other servers. You need a host that has file_get_contents inabled to you use the dotsilver software. The main database of users is on dotsilver's server and all the partners sites call out to dotsilver to get the info. Anyway, it's not a problem with the dotsilver software.
