Posted: 11 May 2006 09:00:34 I noticed an issues with the personal's page. When it loads up, you can see th personals perfectly fine, however when you click on the name or photo of the person you are redirected to 'page not found' - Example: Not Found The requested URL /-Sphynx.html was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. (Sphynx being one of my members). IS there something that needs to be reconfigured? I'm assuming the username and image should link to the profile? |

Posted: 30 May 2006 10:26:40 Yes, you need to have mod_rewrite module working on your Apache server. This kind of URLs is for search engine optimization - gives Google and others a better chance to index your pages. Ask your hosting to turn mod_rewrite on and these URLs are supposed to start working. |
