VConnect Member	Posted: 12 Jun 2005 17:45:51 Changed a members username and even though this was succesful when re-logging in and in the MY ACCOUNT area, the old username remained everywhere else. ie chat page, photo area etc.
88oSpanky Member	Posted: 12 Jun 2005 20:48:39 Users shouldnt be able to change those details. It could lead to issues of harrasment. Example: If some lady says "NO" to Bob... Bob changes his profile and becomes "Robert" who then pursues that lady again.... This is just wrong!!! Sure, bob can signup again with a different email, but I would hope that signups are IP based, to curb these types of issues.
.silver Admin	Posted: 13 Jun 2005 01:09:20 Inability to change username doesn't really help in the case you described. A member can sign up again to annoy the same lady. Also, we can not reject signups from the same IPs. Imagine Internet-cafe and local area networks having gourps of computers with the same external IP. If the problem really exists and persists with the system growth we can always make username uneditable. So, let's promote our sites and watch our members.
