Posted: 23 Aug 2006 09:41:14 Error I get: Error: $_GET['art_id'] is undefined. I get the above error when trying to submit an article. This occurs during the first step of the submission process. I have been able to get a couple of articles posted, but regularly get the above error when submitting. Images I am submitting fit the parameters allowed, and all fields are completed when I submit. It is unclear why the error occurs often but not every time? What is worse, I have to re-enter all the information again because the error erases any entered info. Does anyone know the origin of the error, and how to fix it? This article idea is good, but I have had numerous problems with it, so I am tempted to remove it again. Note: In the past, I allowed tech@dotsilver.com to check into this issue, but I was told all is well and working, which is definitely not true. Thanks, if you have any information to share on this matter. |

Posted: 29 Aug 2006 03:44:54 Hello raybman, What PHP & Apache version are you using? Are you using Windows or Linux? |

Posted: 30 Aug 2006 10:36:33 These are the current specs: Apache version 1.3.34 (Unix) PHP version 4.4.2 MySQL version 4.1.21-standard I have looked on the server and the images appear to have been placed in the articles images folder, but the error still occurs, and the article submission process does not complete. |

Posted: 31 Aug 2006 20:08:44 Here we go again. As mentioned above, I sent this information in the past, and Tech found nothing wrong. Yet, the error still occurs, and as mentioned, it does not happen all the time. I was hoping someone knew of this issue, and found a solution already. Why it works for the tech guys and not for me, is what I need to know. Having someone tell me it works on their computer with no further explanation, doesn't help me solve the problem. So, if there is anybody else that has found a solution, please let me know |
