How can I (if possible) set up two different sites, on the same server, with the same database. i.e. one 'standard' site and one 'adult' site, different domains, different folders for layout and scripts, but the same database?

I tried, but the settings in the config table in the database get overridden, and settings splash over and interfere with each other

thanks

Hello darkedge,

You should use different databases for different sites. For "traditional" site - "traditional" base and as for "adult" site - "adult" base.

I only have one database, but its a highly powered database, which i pay a lot for, and run several systems from it. is there a way of altering the tables, so they are both hosted in the same database?

As for dotSilver network, it's impossible.
If you say about your own database, maybe it is possible. But it would be incorrectly to make two different sites (traditional & adult) with the same database.
