I only get errors after install.

I double checked my directory path to be correct:
/home/dateyou/public_html/

These are the errors I get:

Warning: main(/home/dateyou/public_html/layouts/blue/layout.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dateyou/public_html/inc/smarty.inc.php on line 4

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/dateyou/public_html/layouts/blue/layout.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/dateyou/public_html/inc/smarty.inc.php on line 4

Any suggestions on a cure?

Thank you in advance,
Ray

did you correctly allow the permisions like that :
All folders should have “755” permissions. They will be in this mode by default.

There are only two exceptions. For the following directories you should set “777” permissions manually (this mode means that all users will have full set of rights for using these directories including writing to them – this is our goal afterall):

layouts/chosen_layout_directory/cache*
layouts/chosen_layout_directory/templates_c

Yes, all permissions were set just as stated above.
The folders:
layouts/chosen_layout_directory/cache*
layouts/chosen_layout_directory/templates_c
were created given the appropriate permissions.

Checked and double checked.
What else could be wrong?

Thanks for the help,
Ray

This is a first time install attempt. I am using the blue theme.
Erasing the cookies didn't change a thing, I get the same error.

The header.inc.php is configured like this:

//Section for script configuraion - START
//For info, refer to the Manual.

$_home_dir = '/home/username/public_html/';

$_site_ID = 'real ID number';
$_layout_name = 'blue';
$_color_theme = 'main';
$_bizname = 'Might Be You - Dating and Personals';
$_brand = 'Might Be You';
$_mail_support = 'support@mightbeyou.com';
$_mail_links = 'support@mightbeyou.com';
$_mail_info = 'support@mightbeyou.com';
$_mail_ads = 'support@mightbeyou.com';

$_site_full = 'http://www.mightbeyou.com/';

//Section for script configuraion - END

Of course, real username was entered, and the real ID number was entered as well.

All was uploaded in ASCII mode except Binary mode for images.

Any other thoughts?
Ray

Okay, I discovered the problem.
layout.php somehow did not get upload to the server.

Then I got this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: smarty_core_read_cache_file() in /home/dateyou/public_html/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1165

And then I found an extra return space added at the end of the code in: smarty_core_read_cache_file

Now all seems to be okay,
Ray

We dont see "Smarty.class.php " under /smarty. Is this file created or did we miss out something?
