Posted: 16 Oct 2005 22:23:24 Hi, Anonymous. We try hard to stress out that dotSilver comission from partner earnings is 20% only, that is used to cover our running costs. And our partners receive the rest 80%. Think one more time and give us your answer. |

Posted: 17 Oct 2005 05:15:32 hi dotsilver thank you for the reply.i'm sorry for the misunderstanding.if that is the case.i will continue with the partnership.I hope you can clearly state in the financial statement that the partner will receive 80% of the membership price,the illustration of mathematical calculation is complicated to understand and i think alot of us need to know exactly how much we get as a partner.Thank you for your clarification. |

Posted: 17 Oct 2005 23:44:32 We are glad to see you with us. Not bad idea concerning the illustration of mathematical calculation. |

Posted: 17 Oct 2005 23:54:14 I do agree with Ano about illustration of caculation ; I even cannot understand how 20% nor any percentage ; I only can notice some percentage (far away from 20%) on my sales distribution panel ; though price paid is always same I never receive same amount and have at least 10 different ones ; to give more light about this matter would be surely appreciated by almost all the partners. |

Posted: 18 Oct 2005 00:25:34 Yes, I must also agree. The stated financial model is very convoluted. A simple 80/20 split explanation would have been sufficient, instead of: Ssc = Scmrs + Sics Scmrs = Sc*Pcmrs Sics = Sc*Pics Pcmrs + Pics = 100% huh? It would be better to simplify. |

Posted: 18 Oct 2005 04:28:40 Ray, the formula you described shows funds distribution between partners only. We take our commission only from your earnings after the inter-partners share. 1) Partners share funds coming from member payments. 2) Every partner gives 20% of his/her earnings to dotSilver. Have you guys seen the simplified illustration? Note, it shows only distribution between partners. dotSilver doesn't take part in this scheme. |

Posted: 19 Oct 2005 06:09:24 I don't stop to look at this illustration which you called simplified ; I don't stop to look at the details for distribution and I till not understand any think about the figures when I have a look about what my site earns. I'll come back later with more figures to show what I find, but it really needs to be clarified, I think. |
| xtianfr Member |
Posted: 20 Oct 2005 00:13:17 so, I come back with some figures : 04.09 --> 4.0% on 19.95 07.09 --> 7.1% on 19.95 09.09 --> 8.3% on 19.95 11.08 -->40.0% on 19.95 12.09 -->10.5% on 19.95 12.09 --> 9.5% on 19.95 13.10 --> 0.84% on 35.95 17.10 --> 4.15% on 35.95 I cannot understand why so many different percentages ! |

Posted: 20 Oct 2005 00:44:28 Hi, I'll try to describe the scheme of the finance distribution in more detail. 1) First of all user buys the membership. The 40% part of payment goes at once to the site where the membership was bought and where the member is registered (mainly it is the same site, if not, the payment divides between the owners of the sites accordingly 30%/10%) 2) Then we have 60% remainder. We hold this money until the membership of this member expired. After that we divide the money between partners by the scheme: the site, where the contact took place gets 10%, and the site where the contacted member is registered gets 90%. We can perform this distribution only when the membership expires because only at that moment we can calculate the number of contacts the member made. Note, that after 100 contacts all new ones are not consider. All calculations above were made without the 20% commissions of dotSilver which apply to every partner separately. If you have any questions feel free to ask. |

Posted: 20 Oct 2005 00:52:52 I think I am starting to understand, but in the way I understand, it means the member I gave as example on 13.10 contacted 120 other ones ??? Is he from saudia arabia to form one harem ??? because I got only 0.84% so it means 100% /0.84 # 120 |

Posted: 20 Oct 2005 01:00:15 Don't forget that partners earn money in many cases. If member buys a membership from the site, if another member contacs with your member, if member contacts from your site with another...etc. All this is calculated and summed up. That's why you have many different percentages. |
| .silver Admin |
Posted: 20 Oct 2005 01:13:25 Possibly ,xtianfr, but you should start to calculate not from 100%, but from 60%, because, as I said above, 40% are accrued to site, where the membership was bought. And the rest amount is divided between the owners of contacted members and owners of sites where contacts were initiated. That's why each partner can see a lot of small amounts on his dotSilver account. |
