I have about 50 members on my site and thinking about moving to another hosting. Should I just reinstall .silver software on new hosting and redirect domain name? Thank you.
raybman Member	Posted: 14 Feb 2006 09:29:24 Yes, it is as simple as that. Your Site ID is what locks you into your members and the dotSilver database. If you have a lot of MODS to you site then make a back up copy that can be re-installed at the new hosting company. Once you get new hosting, you will need to change your DNS settings with your domain's registrar (a redirect is not necessary). I have several of the dotSilver partner sites running with my server.
