Hi all!

I'm about to create a hebrew dating site. I didn't find any translations so I want to translate the script by myself.

I belive that the first step would be to create some kind of "lang-Hebrew" file with all the translations, similar to the "lang-English" file.

But what next? where can I change the direction of the text?

I would be happy to share the translation when it's done. But first I need this little help..

thanks!

Hi doron,
Follow this thread about making a file in french language, it should help you out.

ok, thanks! It should help me to do the translation, but hebrew is a "rtl" language and French is a "ltr" language, like English..

Do you have any info about this part?

I'm really not sure about this part. If it was me I would get everything set up as in the instructions by Christian for his French translastion. I would translate a portion of the English file just to get an ideal of how it will handle the language.

I think it should work, it would be like writing backwards in ltr languages. I've done so translation in Russia and the character sets get pretty tricky. Cyrillic Language has several different standards that display incorrectly if the wrong character set is used. It may be the same with Hebrew, I haven't looked into it.

Best of luck with the translation.
