Posted: 22 Nov 2006 03:12:18 We are glad to inform you that we responded to wish of some partners to retain paid mode and modified the network engine the way that partners can set silver mode period length for their sites. Thus if you want to stay in paid mode, you can set it considerably short (for example 3 days), if you want to have "free site", you can set it longer like 1 year (365 days). Thank you for being a partner and we wish you even more earnings with dotSilver network. |

Posted: 22 Nov 2006 08:39:54 hi, I am still new to this, and maybe silly question, but how do I do this ? and does it apply to both adult/standard ? |

Posted: 22 Nov 2006 08:52:20 And how money will be distributed? We get 40% and people who work in free mode will devide 60% with us? If it is so then it is bad idea again and nobody will start paid mode. If I get 60% and 40% is devided between all members then it is ok. |

Posted: 23 Nov 2006 00:39:59 Looks like people still don't get that they can earn by both gold members (40%) and free members (a part of 60%). Anonymous, you sound like you have a lot of gold members and you are afraid of losing a chunk of your earnings. In fact, those partners who so far complained about 40% too little for gold members, earn more due to having free members. If we set more than 40% going to gold members, I suspect a lot of partners including Anonymous will earn less, because there are several partners that are distinct leaders in producing gold members, all others earn due to the fact that we give considerable part of earnings to free members. If you go paid mode, it's good because you will be able to attract gold members. If you go free mode it's still good because you attract more free members and earn with them. Thank you, Max |

Posted: 23 Nov 2006 02:21:42 If I can earn much money with free membership then I will not start paid mode. In free mode I can have more members and more earnings. Am I right? Yes. But what about other partners? I am sure that they will do the same. They will stay in free mode. But who will attract gold members in this case? Nobody. No gold members - no money for all. |

Posted: 23 Nov 2006 09:41:47 many thanks, I can see how all the confusion arises. However, I still do not understand HOW you set the paid mode and/or the length. |

Posted: 24 Nov 2006 02:15:53 Anonymous, Individual paid mode gives you an opportunity to choose the way you want to earn and grow. Anyways, members can pay and buy gold membership, no matter how long your silver membership is. Every partner can now choose their own way. billingib2, You can set silver mode period in your partner account, "edit" section for your sites. |

Posted: 24 Nov 2006 12:46:52 Every partner can now choose their own way. This way is to searsh for another partnership program. Now nobody know how much he can earn with you. Only you know how many sites work in free mode and how many in paid mode. May be all now work in free mode, so why I have to give 60% to them if I can't receive money from their members too? So I will receive less then 40% for my member !!! And it is when many other partnership programmes suggest 50% and more. I prefer to know that if my member paid on site then I will receive not less then $N. Only in this case I can spend money on advertising my site. If you pay us 60% for gold members and 40% for sharing between members then it is ok, but now it is not profitable for us. Your program was not very clear to your partners before but now... |

Posted: 27 Nov 2006 05:27:44 Alexey, You don't have gold members. You earned money due to free members. We don't understand, why you want to change finansial system, because in this case you will earn less. There are several big partners who work in the paid mode. Therefor what mode you would choose (paid or free), in any case you will earn money. |

Posted: 27 Nov 2006 09:38:34 Of course now I don't have gold members because you worked in free mode. But I had gold members when you worked in paid mode. Now I don't understand how your paid mode work. My silver membership lasts 2 days. One of my silver members is silver during a week or so. But he can read and send messages as gold member. His silver membership not expire. What is it? |

Posted: 28 Nov 2006 02:10:14 Your silver members had got their membership before we turned Individual paid mode on. And their membership do not expire, because we gave it more than 3 days. If you want, we can cancel their silver membership. |
