If you turn it on, dotSilver editors team receives your members claims and gives 3 days of free trial membership (all features available) upon having a good profile. What do you people think about free trials? Should anyone on their partner site allow them at this point, or should they wait for a broader audience register first?

The offer can be useful for marketing and promoting a site. If I understand your post, this feature is already available with version 2.0? How/where do I control this function?

If most of the profile is empty or blank then giving that user full access would not be wise. Once a profile is approved then the trial period could begin. If access is given immediately without any profile checking then our sites would be vulnerable to scammers and spammers.

I had to suspend many times some "ghost" members writing some words only to be able to be on site... they have a reason for that, and for sure, not a good one... so, if they are attributed free trial, it would be worst.
