Posted: 15 Dec 2005 13:16:29 - Edited by: Marc Hi, I am setting up a co-op advertising campaign on Google's adwords. Co-op advertising is an efficient, cost effective way to bring traffic to our sites. If you are a dating site partner, I invite you to join in. I have a URL rotator ready to go that sends an EQUAL amount of traffic to each participant. Adult sites partners need to participate in a different campaign because of the different target audience. I'd be happy to help you with that. If you are interested or want to know more, contact me at laliberm@pcxprt.com and we can discuss budget and ad content. You must have a paypal account to participate. |

Posted: 15 Dec 2005 22:21:55 Here is a follow-up on the Co-op advertising. Using the ad I designed combined with four keywords, the ad would average fourth position on first search page at an average cost of $0.17US per click. By example you can figure on $20.00US buying you around 115 clicks or visitors to your site. In my experience, 3 to 5 participants make a good fast moving campaign. We must all invest the same amount and each participant gets an equal share of the clicks. The campaign runs until the funds are spent. As the co-op "manager", I stay in touch with the participants and report regularly on the progress of the campaign. I recommend that participants install a free counter on their sites or find another way to monitor traffic. Most hosting company offer a traffic monitor in your c-panel. With all this said and done, there are no guaranties that all clicks will convert into visitors that will convert into paying members, but the campaign will generate traffic and exposure. Contact me if you are interested and we’ll get some action going. Cheers! |

Posted: 15 Dec 2005 23:00:59 This is a good idea, Marc. And it's probably more effective and less risky for the start than each partner having separate Adwords campaigns. Let's give it a go, we'll join your campaign with our partner site. I think we could give it a review for other partners later when we see what this campaign could be worth. Needless to add, sites with customized looks have better chances than those off-the-shelf ones. When a visitor sees a site looking the same as the one he visited last week, they surely get uneasy wait-I've-been-here-before feeling. Since it's a matter of investment (even if it's small) you should remember that your site must be a good traffic-members converter, only after that it will have a chance to be a FreeMember-PaidMember converter. Customize your looks, folks, I'm serious! |

Posted: 15 Dec 2005 23:35:51 Thank you .silver for your support. In every categories of Internet business, people have been successful using Google Adwords. It is one of the most efficient ways to get “targeted” visitors to your site. Not B2B or link traders, but visitors who are specifically searching keywords relevant to our sites. Moreover, Google has leveled the field in the way they have designed their Adwords system. It is the only advertising system that allows small players like us to compete with the big players. Adwords is based on relevancy of the ad and keywords, not on how much money you put in. With a good relevant ad and as little as $20US per participants we can get a lot of bang for our buck! Lets all work together and bring our partnership a few notch up! |

Posted: 16 Dec 2005 00:05:34 Co-op update: .silver and myself are looking for 3 more participants to our first co-op. The cost is $20US. The co-op should run 3-4 days untill the money runs out. The total amount of your investment goes into the co-op. I do not charge anything to organise it. If you are interested email me at laliberm@pcxprt.com for instructions. |

Posted: 16 Dec 2005 03:23:41 Ok...we need three more volunteers to start. I think, that Mark's idea is clear for everyone. Come on guys, but we'll start from traditional network, we'll make the first step and we'll be keeping everyone informed about our progress by writing messages in this topic. Take the initiative and email Mark. |
