raybman Member	Posted: 20 Dec 2005 10:12:51 Basically, you have to re-install the package. Download the latest version (2.0.2) and do a new install. The installation instructions can be found through a link on the dotSilver software page. Make sure you have set-up a password for your partner account which can be done at the dotSilver site. You will need to enter this password during configuration. Follow the instructions about the database set-up and header.inc.php file. Unfortunately, the install instructions are incomplete. After uploading the software, create folders layouts/blue/cache , layouts/blue/templates_c ; set permissions for these folders to 755. After upload go to your configs page. (www.sitedomain.com/configs.php) Go on to follow the steps during the configuration. If you get an error while trying to access the configs: 1) Read the error and see if it gives you any clues. 2) Make sure all .htaccess files have been uploaded correctly (these are invisible files by default). 3) Re-upload the php and html pages (somestimes your FTP program can break a file during the upload process) This doesn't cover all scenarios, but just some things that helped me.
