I have been contemplating the possibilty of integrating a dotsilver site into a CMS like Drupal. Has anyone ever tried this before? It could be simply done using iframe, but since Drupal supports the smarty theme engine I was wandering if a dotsilver programmer/tech would consider developing a module for this CMS. It would certainly help promote our program. What do you think?

The idea is, of course, worth attention. Alas, our technical staff got loads of work ahead, like fixing/reforging a lot of tiny things in the package, giving more control and flexibility to the script, ultimately integrating new design layouts for a richer choice. I can't imagine our tech dept doing this kind of work any soon. However, this can be done by any of our partners.

Anyone with tech skills, experienced with both drupal and .silver are welcome to try what it takes to integrate dotsilver as a drupal module (or any other CMS). If you succeed, share your mods with others. If it helps to promote the program in the end, we all win attracting more partners => more members.

Ok then, at least it's good to know that we have the freedom to experiment. And I will definitely ask around for help because I am very interested in the possibility of drupal integration. Definitely share any info as it becomes available.

Of course, you have freedom for integrating .silver into anything. This is how the .silver programme was meant to function, because in the end it's going to lead to more profits for partners and us.

Personally, I heard about integration of Google Adsense into CMS's, it would be cool if we do this together for .silver

Anyone having tech skills and free hands is welcome to try Rui's smart idea. We'd definitely like to hear what it can result in.
