Possible to remove birthday from profile page?

moni	Posted: 20 Oct 2006 12:09:36 To many people birthdates are a private piece of info. I haven't looked at the code yet and this may be quite simple. Anyone know a quick way to remove the birthdate on profile pages? Thank you. Moni
.silver Admin	Posted: 20 Oct 2006 23:53:38 Hi Moni, You cannot remove the birthdate. Also you cannot change any profile fields (add or remove them). dotSilver is the network and you don't have permission to do such changes.

I understand though that perhaps dotSilver doesn't have the means to remove it from the script so I will just have to live with it. Thanks. Moni

And how will we check it without birthday? And what about search system? For example, someone wants to find 30 y.o. women. If we remove the birthday field, how could anybody do that? Therefore it should be required to list a member's birthday.
